Hindi script and language learning resources

Learning to write Hindi script

One of the first things to do when you are trying seriously to learn Hindi is to get engaged with the idea of reading and writing Hindi script. Over the years a number of universities have put together some great resources to help you in doing this. Rather than reinventing the wheel what I would like to provide here are links to some of the sites. One problems with websites is they come and go, and sometimes end up using obselete technologies. The following websites (last checked January 29, 2015 ) should be very useful to you as you learn Hindi. I would recommend starting by visiting the first two.

Hindi script Tutor

A fantastic resource originally developed for SOAS London University teaching how to draw the Hindi script and the Hindi sound system using flash animations.
