Exercise 24a: 'Eat your food Ravi!'

Chose a word from each of the columns in order to make a command addressed to Pappu (age 4), Ravi (age 20) or Mahesh (age 46) to 'eat [your] food', 'sit [down] over here' or 'go over there', on the model of 'Ravi, go over there'. Then click on the translate button to see if you have made the right choice of command form for a person you would address as तू, तुम or आप. To reset press 'clear'.

Note: in English when we name somebody in a command we might say 'Eat your food Ravi!' but in Hindi it would be normal to just say 'Ravi food eat'. Note also you would probably also address even a four year old with तुम unless you were related to them.
