The administration has said that it may spend about 50 Lakhs on expenses for the convenience of pilgrims to the 2002 Pitripaksa Mela. The district administration released a summary of this announcement today.
According to Brajesh Mehotra it is likely that a sum of 50 Lakhs will be made available to various agencies for repairs, cleaning, drinking water supply and lighting. In this it is likely that about 25 Lakhs will be made available to the Village Development Authority and the Regional Development Authority for repairing the main road up to Pretshila.
